Muriel Hahn Jordan

My name is Muriel Hahn. I’m a 25-year-old sushi lover, living in the Los Angeles area of California. I am a wedding photographer.

I’m also a cancer survivor. Or cancer warrior. Nowadays, cancer is not a part of my life. I don’t like dwelling on it, but I am an emotional being, so there is no avoiding the occasional remembrance.

Besides being a photographer, I travel, act, write, hike, play piano, declare myself a francophile, and love to cook.

So this is my blog, and I hope to hear what your favorite food happens to be.

i finally found time to respond to your blog.it’s awesome! i still ask our mighty God to give you a healthy health throughtout your life. love you so much. mom

mabuhay! i like the way you set-up the images on your blog, it looks minimal though there’s a lot of text and pix on each page. Also, good composition and lighting on your subjects… impressive! =)

I found your site searching for info about the misha mokwa trail. Your photography is stunning — can you provide info about your equipment and post processing? The flower close ups are just super. But even the everyday scenes have a wonderful nostalgia quality to them.

Hi Jon – thanks for the compliments! My equipment includes a Canon 40D and the “more expensive” kit lens, 17-85mm f/4. I use Lightroom for post processing with a special preset that I tweaked. I resize the image in Photoshop and that’s about it. My equipment hasn’t expanded beyond this yet =) I’ll also rent gear when needed. I love the 5D Mark II with a 35mm 1.4/f – yum!

Muriel,

I’m a friend of Nancy and Paul Sr. I was reading Nancy’s blog and clicked on your site. Your pictures are Amazing! You are so talented and have a unique style. I enjoyed viewing all your work.

I look forward to seeing more of your work.

I sent a link to a friend of mine who goes to Biola and is majoring in film. She did some pictures of my grandchildren that were also amazing. She also has a unique style. I’m sure she will enjoy your gallery. Would you be interested in doing any student films. She is currently making her film and I know has friends in the process of casting. No money just experience.

I haven’t seen Little Paul since he was little he was so cute. He has grown up to be a very handsome guy. Best of Luck to you both. Linda
