In April, I attended the Los Angeles Times’ Festival of Books held on UCLA’s campus. Mackenzie tagged along and got a book about princesses doing things in pink. I wanted to tell her how uncool pink princesses can be and she just wanted the stickers inside.

Two of these photos are taken by Mackenzie herself! Can you guess which ones? She loves staging people in weird positions with weird props, but is actually very good at composing through the viewfinder. If you can believe it, I actually trusted her enough to hold my 40D and snap away.
