I found Hayward with his geeky glasses and quirky haircut in April last year, and I have yet to grow tired of the following songs. I don’t think his voice matches his looks (or age) at all. From his music, he should be an older, bearded guy with a cigarette at a bar, wearing a crumpled cowboy hat and torn jeans.

He doesn’t have much on YouTube, but you can find these songs for download ’round some parts. He’s a little bit folk with that bluegrass twang, but my favorite part of his work? The lyrics. Especially in Problems with Hemingway. They tug at my soul.
